INDUSTRIAL POLICY SUPPORT PROGRAMME (IPSP) FOR MOROCCO, ETHIOPIA AND SENEGAL
- The African Development Bank (AfDB or the Bank) hereby invites Consulting Firms to indicate their interest in the following Assignment : Assist the Bank in the implementation of the industrial policy support programme (IPSP) that will focus on supporting Morocco, Ethiopia and Senegal. The objective is to assist RMCs in developing inclusive and sustainable industrial policies through the provision of advisory and analytical services as well as capacity building to key institutions.
- The services to be provided under the Assignment include ;
- Improve knowledge of industrial fabric of RMCs through mapping, value chain diagnostic and feasibility studies to facilitate private and public investment and inform drafting of industrial zones policy and investment attraction strategies ;
- Provide capacity building for Ministries to develop required industrial policies and regional industrial cluster development policies ;
- Advisory services on industrial subcontracting strategies to improve local content for selected sectors ;
- Facilitate the organization of an investment forum and/or a knowledge sharing conference ;
- The Industrialization and Trade Development Department (PITD) invites Consulting Firms to indicate their interest in providing the services described in this document. Interested eligible Consulting Firms or associations of Consulting Firms shall provide information on their qualifications and experience demonstrating their ability to provide the services (documentation, references for similar services, experience in comparable Assignments, availability of qualified staff, etc.) ;
- The eligibility criteria, the establishment of a short list and the selection procedure shall be in conformity with the Bank’s Rules and Procedure for Acquisition of Consulting Services funded by the Administrative or Capital Expenditure Budget, February 2012. Please note that interest expressed by a Consulting Firm does not imply any obligation on the part of the Bank to include it in the shortlist ;
- The indicative duration of services is 8 months and the estimated starting date is 1 May 2019 ;
