Call for papers and organized submissions on all topics related to development economics for BCDE9 in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, in November 2018
All development researchers are invited to submit working papers to be presented in parallel sessions during the 9th Bolivian Conference on Development Economics (BCDE9). BCDE9 will take place in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, on November 29-30, 2018.
The conference brings together local and international scholars for the exchange of ideas and discussion of recent results within theoretical and applied development economics research. Female and Bolivian researchers are particularly encouraged to submit papers on all topics within the field of development economics. Papers that combine economics with novel insights from other fields (e.g. behavioural economics, environmental economics, social psychology) are also encouraged.
Additionally, BCDE9 also invites submissions for organized paper sessions and organized panels sessions. The objective is to engage critically with development issues from theoretical and empirical perspectives. The sessions may also address issues of policy and practice as long as they also make an intellectual and substantive contribution. Download the call for organized sessions.
This year’s conference is jointly organized by the Society of Bolivian Economists (SEBOL), Institute for Advanced Development Studies (INESAD), the Bolivian Academy of Economic Science (ABCE) and Universidad Privada de Santa Cruz (UPSA).
