The Group recently appointed several new faces to its Executive Leadership Team, all with a proven track record and deep experience in aviation or consumer-focused businesses : Quality – Maintenance Performance Leader.

The objective of the Quality – Maintenance Performance Leader role is to provide support to Engineering Operations for all off-shore maintenance oversight and vendor management. Management of all interactions between Virgin Australia CAMO and Line and Base (Heavy) Maintenance providers including performance management and regular reporting on operational performance and quality issues.

 

What you’ll need :

  • Airworthiness and Engineering Operations auditing in the RPT aviation environment ;
  • Hold or have held an accreditation as Lead Auditor ;
  • Qualification in Aviation Maintenance related discipline ;
  • Strong self-motivation and direction to be able to work without direct supervision ;
  • Proven skills in oral and written reporting to senior technical managers ;
  • Demonstrated ability to lead AMOs to determine the root cause(s) of the deficiencies discovered ;
  • Proven ability to work across multicultural and multidisciplined teams and organisations ;
  • Strong practical experience and expertise in the applications of SMS, aviation safety standards and safe operating practices ;
  • Ability to see and encourage continuous improvement ;
  • Demonstrated understanding of the CASA maintenance regulatory framework along with other key NAA.
