REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST

Water Development and Sanitation Department (AHWS)

1. The African Development Bank hereby invites Anglophone Individual Consultants to indicate their interest in the following Assignment : Consultancy Services for operational support to roll out the work program of the Rural Water Supply Service Initiative (RWSSI) of the African Development Bank (AfDB) ; 

2. The services to be provided under the Assignment include: (i) Implementation of RWSSI work plans; (ii) Monitoring and Strengthening of the performance of RWSSI’s portfolio in English speaking countries; (iii) Enhancement of the regional collaboration and ownership of RWSS through Working Groups and Forum of stakeholders; (iv) Development of knowledge products, learning and knowledge management around specific themes to inform policy and practice; (v) Ad-hoc assignments in support to AHWS1 division and to AWF in relation to the new merged facility ;

3. The Water Development and Sanitation Department invites Anglophone Individual Consultant to indicate their interest in providing the above-described services. Interested eligible Individual Consultants shall provide information on their qualifications and experience demonstrating their ability to provide the services (updated CV, documentation, reference to similar services, experience in similar assignments and eventually with the Bank or others MDBs, availability for assignment, etc.) ;

4. The eligibility criteria, the establishment of a short list and the selection procedure shall be in conformity with the Bank’s Procurement Policy and Procedure for Corporate Consultants Recruitment). Please note that interest expressed by a Consultant does not imply any obligation on the part of the Bank to include it in the shortlist ;

5. The estimated duration of services is six (6) months, and the estimated starting date is February 15^th, 2022 ;

6. Interested individual consultants may obtain further information at the address below during the Bank’s working hours: 09:00am – 05:00pm ;

7. Expressions of Interest must be received at the address below no later than December 17, 2021 at 05:00pm GMT and specifically mentioning “Consultancy Services for operational support to roll out the work program of the Rural Water Supply Service Initiative (RWSSI) – Anglophone Consultant”.

ESTABLISHMENT OF THE SHORT LIST :

8. A shortlist of three to six individual consultants will be established at the end the request of expressions of interest. The consultants on the shortlist will be judged on the following criteria on the basis of their updated resume/CV.
