The Republic of Mozambique has received financing from the African Development Fund (ADF) toward the cost of Nacala Road Corridor Phase III and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this loan to payments under the contract for: “Consultancy to Undertake an Assessment of Domestic Road Construction Industry in Mozambique”.
The services included under this project are, to collect and analyse data to evaluate the technical and professional capacities of the existing national construction contractors and consultant firms located in the country and to draw conclusions & recommendations on the actions and measures that need to be carried out to augment their capacities to take advantage of the opportunities arising from the execution of road works.
The National Roads Administration (ANE) now invites eligible Consultants to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested Consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may constitute joint-ventures to enhance their chances of qualification.
Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development “Procurement Framework for Bank Group-Funded Operations” dated October 2015, which are available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afdb.org.
Interested Consultants may obtain further information at the address below during office hours Monday to Friday from 07:30 a.m. to 15:30.
Expressions of interest must be delivered to the address below in hardcopy or by email by 10:00 am Mozambique local time, on April 30th, 2020 and must be clearly marked : “Consultancy Services to Undertake an Assessment of Domestic Road Construction Industry in Mozambique”.
