Context :
- The Government of Mozambique has received a loan from the African Development Bank ADF in various currencies towards the costs of Job Creation and Livelihood Improvement Project. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contracts (i) Design, supply and installation of feed processing factories, incubators and slaughter house in Niassa Province and (ii) Design, supply and installation of incubators and slaughter houses in Zambézia Province – Mozambique.
- The IPEME – Instituto para a Promoção das Pequenas e Médias Empresas now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for (i) Design, supply and installation of feed processing factories, incubator and slaughter house in Niassa Province and (ii) Design, supply and installation of incubator and slaughter house in Zambézia Province – Mozambique. International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Bank’s Rules and Procedures for procurement of Goods and Works in force at the African Development Bank, May 2008 Edition and revised in July 2012.

- A complete set of Bidding Documents may be requested by the interested bidders upon the submission of a written application or email to the said Executing Agency
- The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions are those of the Bank’s Standard Bidding Document for Procurement of Goods Contracts.
- Bids must be delivered to the above office on or before 10:00h a.m. local time on 30th September 2019 and must be accompanied by a security of USD 33,000.00 (Niassa) and USD 19,000.00 (Zambézia).
- Bids shall remain valid for 120 days from 30th September 2019.
- Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 10:30h A.M local time on 30th September 2019, at the offices of IPEME – Sala de formações do CoRe.
