Ashoka East Africa launches research and selection of young entrepreneurs Ashoka change in Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, Ethiopia and South Sudan. This opportunity targets youth aged 12 to 20 who identified a problem, demonstrated leadership, teamwork and impact in their community.
Ashoka Changemakers Young is a carefully selected network of young people who have found the power to create change for the good of all and engage their peers and society as a whole to realize a world where everyone is a change maker. . If you or someone you know fits this description, consider joining our community of leaders.
Selection criteria :
You are a changemaker :
- Your idea – You have deeply sympathized with a problem and from there you have developed your own original idea to fix it ;
- Your team – You have built a team around that idea. You lead by helping others to lead and also to find their power as changers ;
- Your world has changed – You have helped improve the lives of people and their environment. You are always attached to the good of all ;
- You are a co – Want to help others to change the world. You would provide the change among your peers and you will help to co-lead the global movement to give everyone the power you have found is to say, to be an agent of change.
Application Procedure :
Step 1 : Tell us about your career change and ideas to help everyone get the same power, that is to say, become agents of change.
Step 2 : Talk to 3 to 5 social entrepreneurs and young entrepreneurs of Ashoka’s Global group. network. Get information to advance your evolution
Step 3 : Bring a team member (and perhaps an important ally of your work) to a group discussion and selection composed of social entrepreneurs, journalists and other leaders. Meet other young actors of change and discuss ideas to co-lead a movement Everyone Changemaker
Step 4 : access to resources to help the movement. The panel and Ashoka invite a small group to become Ashoka Changemakers Young.
Young Ashoka Changemakers selected are inducted in a global community and have access to workshops, strategic mentoring, support for fundraising, partnerships with the media, visits grow themselves and their initiatives.
