Looking for a Lead Mechanical Engineer to build a new open cycle, gas-turbine based power station in Khartoum region to support our customer, the national power generation utility in Sudan.

Must have:

• At least 15 years experience on construction sites in the power generation or oil and gas environment working as a mechanical engineer.
• Must have expertise on turbomachinery equipment (gas turbines or large compressors) – with at least 5 gas turbines or compressors installed.
• Must have experiene on SGT 2000 E class urbines (Ansaldo or GE may be considered)
• Expertise on BOP (balance of plant) (piping, heat exchangers etc) as well as constructing tank farms, with at least 8 years experience
• Experience on quality control for piping installation (NDT, pressure tests etc) with at least 3 years experience
• Previous engineering experience in engineering compamies is rccomendable
• Must have at least 5 years experience working in Africa/Middle East
• Proven track records on similar projects as site Mechanical Engineer/Lead Mechanical Engineer
