Who we’re looking for:

With a thing for best in class, a passion for digital, and the talent for embracing business change and moving towards integrating loyalty partners and member lifecycle.  You will be data driven and have a breadth of experience working campaign management tools.

What you’ll be doing:

The objective of the Marketing Specialist role is to plan, execute and manage tactical and always-on marketing campaigns to influence and grow SME market share and revenue for Virgin Australia.

Sitting within the Velocity Marketing Team, you’ll work hand-in-glove with our Product, Commercial and Loyalty teams to develop tactical campaign strategies to meet commercial goals and work with our Brand, CRM, Social, Content, PR and Agency teams to execute. This is a key role within the SME Squad for one of the biggest brands in Australia.

Your day will include:

  • Developing integrated marketing plans to brief internal and external stakeholders
  • Plan channels with a full funnel marketing approach to deliver and optimise leads
  • Create messaging frameworks and value propositions that meet our customers needs, leveraging data and insight
  • Work with commercial stakeholders to define commercial marketing goals, supervise measurement and report on outcomes.
  • Briefing agencies and internal stakeholders across Media, CRM, Creative, PR, Content, Partnerships and Social to formulate integrated marketing campaigns

You’ll be great in this role if you have:

  • Minimum 5 years mid-level marketing experience
  • Ability to deliver end to end marketing campaigns across multiple channels
  • Understanding of B2B audiences and marketing approaches
  • Experience briefing and leading agency deliverables
  • Is data-driven, with a focus on customer-led marketing campaign experience
  • Ability to assess opportunities and turn insights into actions
  • Is able to build strong network/relationships across all lines of business and external Partners to deliver results and has communication skills like no other
  • Has a wicked eye for detail
