Get to know the role :
A new role has become available for a Leader, Groups Sales, based in BNE.
In this role, you’ll be a leader and representative for the Groups Sales team, working closely with the Leadership cohort to deliver best practice systems and processes. To do this, you’ll need to balance the leadership and technical elements of the role.
Leadership :
- Set and comply with specific project timelines, outcomes and milestones ;
- Lead projects from end to end, engaging with internal and external SME’s, Leaders, Managers and where appropriate GM’s to ensure project momentum is maintained ;
- Work closely with the Service Enhancement Leader and the Capability Advisor to promote implementation and adoption of projects ;
- Perform analysis and report on cost-benefit and return on investment for proposed system and process changes ;
- Leads, supports and guides business problem solving utilising proven improvement methodologies.
Technical :
- Process map current state and recommend future state (blue sky) ;
- Provide technical insights and deliver solutions to meet department goals ;
- Identifying and assessing quantifiable opportunities for improvement ;
- Cost benefit analysis.
What are the requirements ?
- In-depth knowledge of pricing optimisation methodology ;
- Fares and Ticketing 1 & 2 ;
- Extensive GDS knowledge (preferably Sabre) ;
- Knowledge of the airline industry both international and domestic ;
- Strong project management experience.
