About the role :

This is an 12 month fixed term opportunity. As a Payroll Officer you will work as part of a team and be responsible for processing fortnightly and monthly pays, end of month and other general payroll functions.  This includes generating new hire records, processing terminations, responding to queries from internal and external stakeholders and other duties as required.

About you :

Your enthusiastic nature and strong interpersonal skills will ensure that you are able to meet the needs of both internal and external customers.  Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of confidentiality will also be crucial to your success in this role.

What you’ll need :

To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate :

• Proven experience in a high volume payroll position ;
• ORACLE Payroll system experience ;
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills ;
• High level mathematics and analytical skills ;
• Previous experience in the interpretation and dealing with Enterprise Agreements ;
• High level skills in MS Word and Excel ;
• Ability to understand and implement cost effective and time saving processes.
