REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST AFRICAN DEVELOPMENT BANK
Resource Mobilization and Partnerships Department (FIRM.2) Individual Consultant
1. The African Development Bank invites individual Consultants to indicate their interest in the following assignment: Strategic Communications Consultant.
2. The services to be provided under the Assignment, which will be based on guidance from the Task Manager, include the following activities:
The consultant will be responsible for targeted communication work for the Division in regards to the development of specific Partnership and Resource Mobilization strategies, presentations and implementation plans; as well as other related communication activities as advised by the Task Manager.
The consultancy service will aim at communicating with a defined audience of sovereign and non-sovereign donors, including Foundations, Corporations and Institutional Investors as well as other internal and external public and private stakeholders. The selected individual will be familiar with and use the most adequate and effective approaches, tools and channels in view of disseminating key messages. These messages aim to (1) increase the visibility of the Bank’s overall Resource Mobilization and Partnership initiatives (2) contribute to increased buy-in from a broad and diverse range of stakeholders and (3) convey the advantages of engaging with the Bank to reach a set of mutually beneficial objectives.
3. The estimated duration of services is six (6) months and the estimated starting date is 15 January 2019.

5. A short-list of three to six individual consultants will be established at the end the request of expressions of interest. The consultants on the shortlist will be judged on the following criteria based on their updated resume.
