1. The African Development Bank hereby invites Individual Consultants to indicate their interest in the following Assignment: SAP S/4 HANA Customer Vendor Integration Consultant.

2. The main purpose of the assignment is to assist the SAP Team within IT Department with Customer Vendor Integration for SAP S/4 HANA Transformation Project. The selected Consultant should understand the as-is architecture, configurations and data of customer and vendor master data in SAP ECC and help SAP Team with S/4 HANA Project with Business Partner, Customer and Vendor integration assignment.

The consultant’s duties will include:

• Understand the existing architecture of Customer and Vendor Master Data.
  

• Business partner Master data setup in integration with Customer and Vendor in new S/4 HANA Environment, which is a Target System.
  

• Design and implementation of the Solution.
  

• Transport the developed solution from the Development platform to the Quality Assurance platform in the SAP landscape.
  

• Follow up with the users and other key Bank staff in carrying out the quality assurance tests and effect requested amendments and corrections. Provide the required documentation.
  

• Provide the required documentation.
  

• Ensure knowledge proper transfer to Bank’s Staff.
  

3. Essential skills/Competencies:

• At least Master Degree in Computer science or related field.

• At least 5 years of experience in SAP Master Data configurations in particular the architecture of Customer and Vendor Master Data.

• Candidate must have at least 2 years of experience in SAP S/4 HANA – Customer Vendor Integration projects.

• CVI-SAP Experience, both hands on delivery and consulting experience to lead integration with best practices.

• Provide expertise and direction on Business Partner versus Customer Vendor Data Model.

• Understand complexities / impacts in current ECC environment in order to effectively activate CVI.

• Must have experience in BP – Customer vendor synchronization process.

• Knowledge on One Business Partner – Multiple roles (Customer, Vendor).

• Analyze user requirements; translate high-level requirements into detailed functional specification.

• Hands on experience in developing technical specifications for SAP custom modules and interface programs.

• Experience in conducting system verification and validation by examining the correctness, completeness, reliability, and maintainability at each step in the development process.

• Review all development efforts affecting existing functionality to understand integration and process impact and ensure reliability, and completeness of the development process.

• Prior FI Accounts Payable process and/or professional experience is added advantage.

• Experience with Public Sector business processes to resolve challenges involving SAP Configuration and Customizing is added advantage.

4. The Corporate Information Technology Services Department (CHIS) invites Individual Consultants to indicate their interest in providing the above-described services. Interested Consultants shall provide information on their qualifications and experience demonstrating their ability to undertake this Assignment (documents, reference to similar services, experience in similar assignments, etc).

5. The eligibility criteria, the establishment of a short list and the selection procedures shall be in conformity with the Bank’s procedures for the acquisition of consulting services funded by the administrative or capital expenditure. Please, note that interest expressed by a Consultant does not imply any obligation on the part of the Bank to include him/her in the shortlist.

6. The estimated duration of services is six (06) months and the estimated starting date is 03 September 2018.

8. Expressions of interest must be received by email at the address below no later than Monday, 13 August, 2017 at 17:00 hours, Abidjan local time and specifically mentioning “SAP S/4 HANA Customer Vendor Integration Consultant”.

ESTABLISHMENT OF THE SHORT LIST

8. A shortlist of three to six individual consultants will be established at the end the request of expressions of interest. The consultants on the shortlist will be judged on the following criteria on the basis of their updated resume.
