Smartlynx is looking  for Junior System Administrator

 

We are looking to hire a Junior System Administrator to work in a complex and rapidly changing computing environment to join our IT team.
The Junior System Administrator will provide setup and maintenance to a reliable and complex technical infrastructure to effectively serve the entire organization, including running, maintaining and troubleshooting systems.

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Endpoint maintenance and user support
  • Work with MDM (mobile device management) server as well as iPad configuration and maintenance
  • IT systems and “Thin client” system’s administration and maintenance (user management, capacity maintenance)

 

Requirements:

  • Higher education in IT field (could be last year student)
  • Knowledge in WIN/LINUX OS administration
  • Knowledge in L2 infrastructure administration
  • Knowledge about computer network security solutions, security policies and IT service provider principles
  • Good communication, preciseness, accuracy skills and ability to work in a team
  • Good command of both spoken and written English, Latvian and Russian

 

Beneficial skills:

  • Experience in OS maintenance VMWARE
  • Programming/scripting skills (PHP, PowerShell)
  • Experience in DBMS management (MySQL, MS SQL)
