Role Purpose :

 Inorder to strengthen the implementation of the education project in the targetedregions, SCI intends to recruit an Education Project intern. The post holderwill support the planning process, implementation and monitoring of SCIeducation projects to promote safe and quality learning environment, supportiveschools and communities that increase vulnerable and marginalized children’sparticipation in education, their retention and transition into formaleducation.

He/she will be responsible to implement at thecommunity level for this education project in Nugal regions of Puntland.

Qualifications and Experience :

  • Diploma in Education management or social science or post-secondary education qualifications;
  • Experience of working with communities at grass-root level;
  • Ability to read and write in English as well as the national language;
  • Computer skills, with focus on word processing and excel;
  • Strong morals viz. honesty, open and transparency, generosity, altruism and respect;
  • Experience in working in harsh environment an added advantage;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relations in diverse teams.
