On-the-job learning by assisting experienced Air Baltic staff in aircraft structure sheet-metal repairs, whilst gaining the practical experience to become in future a certified Sheet-Metal Technician
We will entrust you to :
- Evaluate extend of the aircraft structure damage and complete reports ;
- Determine appropriate aircraft manufacturer approved repair scheme and prepare repair schedule ;
- Prepare aircraft structure for the repair (damaged area cut-out, fasteners drill-out, sanding, etc) ;
- Carry on aircraft structure repairs (sheet-metal material cutting, rolling, bending, drilling, riveting, etc.) using sheet-metal tools (guillotine shears, rolling machines, folding machines, drilling machines, hand tools, etc.).
What You will need to succeed :
- Experience with sheet – metal working will be considered as an advantage ;
- Good knowledge of English, Latvian and Russian languages ;
- Completed secondary education ;
- Interest in metal working ;
- Ability to work at least 3 full days per week (from 08:00 – 20:00).
