Description :

Dear Sir/Madam :

  1. The African Development Bank hereby invites Individual Consultants to indicate their interest in the following Assignment: Individual Consultant to Support the Equity Portfolio Management Team 
  2. The services to be provided under the Assignment are as follows: Under the supervision of the Chief Equity Portfolio Management Expert and the Equity Portfolio Management Team, the Senior Consultant will  Work closely with the Financial Control Department to perform accounting reconciliations to streamline data migrated into e-Front Private Equity subsystem with the SAP General ledger. Liaise with the accounting department to resolve outstanding issues; Liaise with the Financial Control Department team and Fund Managers to perform a detailed review of equity investments outstanding balances, including but not limited to capital calls, distributions, mark to market and callable capital; Perform monthly reconciliation of eFront balances with balances in SAP General Ledger and balances in Fund Managers’ reports; (iv) Perform reconciliation process of quarterly valuations of Private Equity Funds and Direct Equity Investments; Extract information on investee companies from Fund’s quarterly reports and update investee companies’ positions in eFront; Assist with the preparation of documentation and user manuals on the utilization of the Private Equity Information Management System (eFront) and the business process; Assist with the production of adequate reporting tools for the Bank aligned with recommendations of the internal and external auditors.
  1. The NSO and Private Sector Support Department invites Individual Consultants to indicate their interest in providing the above-described services. Interested Consultants shall provide information on their qualifications and experience demonstrating their ability to undertake this Assignment (documents, reference to similar services, experience in similar assignments, etc…).
  1. The eligibility criteria, the establishment of a short list and the selection procedure shall be in conformity with the Bank’s Rules and Procedure for Acquisition of Consulting Services funded by the Administrative or Capital Expenditure Budget. Please, note that interest expressed by a Consultant does not imply any obligation on the part of the Bank to include him/her in the shortlist.
  1. The assignment will be for a period of 12 months and the estimated starting date will be 1st August 2019.

  1. Expressions of interest must be received by email at the address below no later than Friday 5th July 2019, at 17h00 local time in Abidjan, specifically mentioning Individual Consultant to Support the Equity Portfolio Management Team.

Establishment of the short list :

  1. A shortlist of three to six individual consultants will be established at the end of the request of expressions of interest. The consultants on the shortlist will be judged on the following criteria based on their updated resume.
