Recruitment of an individual consultancy services for the Cabinda Province Agriculture Value Chains Development Project (CPAVCDP) – ANGOLA
Description :
The Ministry of Agriculture and Forests of Angola has received financing from the African Development Bank towards the cost of the “Cabinda Province Agriculture Value Chains Development Project (CPAVCDP)” and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this loan to payments under the contract for Individual Consultancy Services for the Fisheries and Aquaculture – Training Consultant.
The services will involve the provision of technical assistance in the development of value chains in artisanal, maritime, continental and aquaculture fisheries, capacity development of the Provincial Secretary of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries and Provincial Department of the Institute for Artisanal Fisheries and Aquaculture (IPA) and training of key stakeholders / players in the fishing industry sector in Fisheries and Aquaculture. The consultant will be part of the Project Team working on Fisheries and Aquaculture under the project for Development of Agricultural Value Chains in the Province of Cabinda. The duration of the assignment is one year from 1st August 2019 and renewable subject to availability of funds and satisfactory performance of the Consultant. The location is Cabinda, Angola.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Forests of Angola now invites eligible Individual Consultants to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (curriculum vitae, cover letter, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions etc.). Only consultants from the African Development Bank member countries are eligible to submit their expression of interest (the list of member countries is available at http://www.afdb.org/en/about-us/corporate-information/members/).
Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s “Procurement Framework for Bank Group-Funded Operations Consultants”, dated October 2015”, which is available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afdb.org.
