Get to know the role

The Airport Commercial Specialist will be integral to ensuring Virgin Australia has access to the airport infrastructure and property facilities required to meet the businesses’ strategic, operational and product requirements.

You will develop a solid understanding of the business requirements and negotiate access to the necessary infrastructure and / or premises on terms aligned to Virgin Australia’s strategic, operational and product requirements.

What you’ll need:

• 5+ years’ experience in commercial roles
• Financial modelling skills preferably developed in a price modelling context
• Experience interpreting, drafting, negotiating and managing complex commercial agreements (preferably for access to infrastructure or supply of services) and / or lease agreements

• Tertiary qualifications in Business / Commerce, Law, Property Economics or related discipline
• In the absence of the above qualifications, extensive experience in airport, port, rail or electricity infrastructure and property leasing
