The Disrupt Management Improvement Program (DMIP) which sits in the Business Change & Improvement portfolio aim is to “make disruption suck less for our guests”. This could be through process re-engineering, the development of machine learning technology, implementation of self-service technology, 1:1 engagement with our guests and more! We are looking for a Business Analyst to join the program to help implement some of the fantastic ideas that DMIP has generated (and identify more improvement opportunities) to make our customers’ experience happier and effortless.  You will be working closely with the Change & Improvement Specialist and Strategy and Innovation Specialist on the program to execute on our vision to make a difference.

Detail orientated Airline operations is complex problem space with multiple variables, nearly all of which are important to operational efficiency and some of which are sometimes critical to flight safety.  You can maintain your attention to detail of the complex interlocking variables.

Innovative You are open to new ideas. You keep your knowledge up to date with new techniques and technologies and are keen to apply what you learn to your software development practice.

A people person You collaborate and engage with the internal and external stakeholders, understanding relationships are key.

What you’ll need :

• Demonstrated experience working on large, complex projects ;
• In depth experience of process re-engineering techniques and modelling skills ;
• Relevant degree qualifications or equivalent experience ;
• Excellent Analytical skills ;
• Excellent stakeholder management skills ;
• Ability to take leadership on projects with large Business Analysis components ;
• 2+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst.

Key Accountabilities :

• Liaise with Business stakeholders to define their problems, opportunities, requirements and business processes with a view to providing quality outcomes within the Disrupt Management Improvement Program ;
• Facilitate workshops with frontline team members to understand their roles and identify pain points for improvement ;
• Engage key stakeholders and build confidence across the business in the program’s ability to deliver quality outcomes for customer experience ;
• Drive and guide Business Analysis across multiple work streams on the large program of work ;
• Promote Business Analysis best practice within the team and continually seek new ways of improving work practices.
