The Organisation :

Plan International is an independent development and humanitarian organisation that advances children’s rights and equality for girls.

We believe in the power and potential of every child. But this is often suppressed by poverty, violence, exclusion and discrimination. And it’s girls who are most affected.

Working together with children, young people, our supporters and partners, we strive for a just world, tackling the root causes of the challenges facing girls and all vulnerable children.

We support children’s rights from birth until they reach adulthood. And we enable children to prepare for – and respond to – crises and adversity. We drive changes in practice and policy at local, national and global levels using our reach, experience and knowledge.

We have been building powerful partnerships for children for over 80 years, and are now active in more than 70 countries.

The Opportunity :

Plan International utilises a risk management database software (referred to as the Risk & Compliance System) to support its risk and compliance functions.  Active across four compliance functions and with nearly 2000 users across all countries this is a core system for the business. We are looking for an organised and skilled individual to help support the Risk & Compliance System and in particular the development and roll out of control self-assessments across 70+ Plan International offices.

The Person :

You will be part of a high performing team and will be responsible for proactively supporting end users of the Risk & Compliance System. This role will drive productivity through efficient and effective training, tools, and reports while also supporting delivery of other priority departmental projects.

Generally the role of Risk & Compliance Support Officer will include :

  • Supporting users to access the Risk & Compliance System ;
  • Preparing training materials and supporting workshops ;
  • Consolidating and analysing various data sources, in particular, from the Risk & Compliance System ;
  • Working confidently with multiple stakeholders, ensuring deadlines are met ;
