The Role

Oxfam International Secretariat is looking for Senior International Reward Business Partner to provide expert advice on a broad spectrum of strategic and operational reward matters to managers and senior leadership across the confederation and contributes to the development of the global reward strategy.  Provides dedicated senior International Reward Business partnership and focal point for reward matters for designated stakeholder groups and activities, specifically Oxfam GB’s Executive Affiliate reward activities and non-UK based staff including the delivery of the annual calendar of reward activities, development and implementation of reward policy and practice and solutions, and expert guidance and governance which reflect and embed our values and aspirations to be safe, feminist and anti-racist in how we work.

Who we’re looking for

In addition:

  • Significant experience of complex international Reward delivery gained within a large, unionised organisation and with multiple stakeholders
  • Up to date and in-depth knowledge of reward practices
  • Experienced in contributing to medium-term strategic and operational business planning and delivery of successful outcomes with a positive impact for the business
  • Analytical skills, including using data to inform decision making, and being able to weigh up and take decisions when there are unknowns and different possible solutions
  • Influencing skills
  • A role model for wellbeing and resilience

Experience in developing others (inside and outside HR) to build knowledge, understanding and capability in reward management.  Includes skills building across the wider management community

Desirable

  • Coaching or training/facilitation experience
  • MCIPD qualified or equivalent experience level
  • Experience of working in an INGO and/or international environment

Understanding and/or experience of feminist leadership principles, anti-racist and intersectional approaches in practice.
