NRC recrute un Responsable de l’hébergement Mozambique Mueda, Pemba, Mozambique

Line management of shelter/WASH assistants (engineering) project staff, including RRM staff (emergency rapid response).

Adherence to NRC policies, guidance and procedures;

Responsible to implement delegated technical portfolio of Shelter/WASH projects (need assessments, bill of quantities, drawings, etc) as delegated from Project Coordinator in line with proposals, strategies and donor requirements, and ensure high technical quality;

Provide regular progress reports to the project Coordinator;

Prepare and ensure that all technical Bill of quantities and scope of works are in line with quality NRC standards;

Promote and share ideas for improvement and necessary changes in the activities;

1. Line Management. Responsible for the direct line management of assistants engineering/emergency team in Cabo Delgado (assistants and site supervisors), including RRM team staff.
2. Technical Support. Providing technical support and leadership to partners and communities implementing Shelter/WASH or Emergency Response activities. This includes ensuring compliance with relevant minimum standards and collaborative engagement with the technical team in developing minimum technical standards, SOPs and guidance.
3. Assessments. In collaboration with the Emergency Tem and Shelter/WASH, conduct Emergency need assessments / technical/engineering assessments undertaken by NRC or partners in Cabo Delgado. Assessments may be emergency-focused, Sector-Specific, Multi-Sector Assessments.

Desirable minimum 3 years of experience of project implementation, managing and supervising construction/rehabilitation projects with private/humanitarian sectors with proven experience on technical and managerial skills.

Experience from working in complex and volatile contexts;

Technical engineering expertise / experience in emergency response activities

Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities;

Knowledge about own leadership skills/profile;

Fluency in Portuguese and English

Valid driver’s license.

Knowledge of the context in Cabo Delgado;

Strong knowledge of MS package (Word, Excel…) and Auto card (or similar).
