The International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) is the leading global NGO in the field of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR). It is currently working in more than 170 countries in the world. The Africa Regional Office (IPPFARO) is one of IPPF’s six regional offices.

As part of implementing IPPF’s Strategic Framework 2016-2022, IPPF Africa Regional Office (IPPF ARO) is committed to ensure the delivery of comprehensive SRH services which can contribute to the reduction of maternal morbidity and mortality due to unsafe abortion which continues to be a huge challenge in the region especially among the most poor and vulnerable women (include young women). IPPF ARO is currently implementing several projects in the region, through its Member Associations (MAs) to address this challenge.

The Project Technical Advisor will therefore be responsible to provide oversight, management and coordination of the multi-country projects to enhance access to abortion-related services, with a focus on the Cote d’Ivoire Consortium to enhance access to abortion-related services. The approach of the projects is one of integrated SRH service delivery, enhancing clinic data management systems, enhancing community mobilization and awareness creation to accelerate access to the most vulnerable groups including poor women and youth :
