Job descriptions :
Provide driving services to IITA employees, collaborators and visitors in / out CDI
- Drive Scientists to field for research activities
- Record all travel information on the vehicle’s logbook.
- Ensure that all vehicles’ documents are valid and up-to-date (for local and international travel)
- Perform maintenance and routine checks
- Carry out the cleaning of vehicles and ensure the suitability of the equipment (Tools, pharmacy box and accessories)
- Check with the Logistics Officer /garage for the vehicles maintenance in due time.
- Be courteous and pay attention to the needs of passengers when driving.
- Ensure the filling of the return cards and their deposit after each trip to the service in charge of the management of the vehicles pool.
- Ensure the safety of passengers and goods
- Perform administrative tasks at the Office when there is no field mission
Requirements :
Academic and Professional Qualifications:
- Baccalaureate or secondary education equivalent
- Valid Driving License (at least Category B)
- Ability to speak, write and read French correctly
- Computer literate
Minimum Work Experience:
- Relevant experience of 5 years, preferably in international organization
- Good knowledge of Côte d’Ivoire road network especially in Abidjan, project implementation areas (…..)
