Details :

Mission and objectives : GLOWA fights against human trafficking and the damage it creates in our communities throughout the Northwest region of Cameroon through community education to prevent trafficking, support for victims, and advocacy on their behalf. Through these works, GLOWA aims to nurture a culture of respect for human rights, particularly those of children and women, in the region and fight against the systematic abuses faced by the most vulnerable.

 

Context :

GLOWAHaus is developing a rehabilitation and stabilization project for abuse children and women through vocational training and psychosocial counselling. To overcome the challenges of the absence of a ready curriculum in vocational training in Cameroon GLOWA is developing compelling curricula in Sewing, Embroidery Hairdressing and Shoemaking. GLOWA is soliciting the support of volunteer(s) to support the team of curriculum developers. The vocational training options for which we are developing curriculum include sewing, embroidery, hairdressing and shoemaking.

 

Task description :

The volunteer shall conducts research and analyse data for quality curriculum for hands-on vocational training in sewing, embroidery, hairdressing and shoemaking. s/he shall determine strategy and best practices for gathering relevant information on the various subjects. He shall facilitate access to all information to the project team.

 

Requirements :

Required experience : The volunteer should have experience in the vocational training option s/he or she would be willing to work on. S/he should also have experience in working online and conducting research

Languages : English, Level: Fluent, Required.
