Job Role Summary :

Controller’s supports ExxonMobil businesses with activities at General Accounting (GA) and Financial Accounting and Reporting (FA&R) competencies.

 

Job Role Responsibilities :

• Ensures accuracy of the financial reporting for ExxonMobil businesses ;
• Performs account reconciliations ;
• Reconciles inventory balances ;
• Maintains proper asset balances and disposition ;
• Ensures proper bank accounting ;
• Manages large number of intercompany charges ;
• Delivers financial accounting support to the business

 

Expected Level of Proficiency :

• Preferably 1-2 year experience in Controllers, Accounting, Financing, or Business Administration ;
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or business administration and/or engineering from an accredited college or university ;
• Analytical Skills (Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions / to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions, in mathematical or diagram form, and deal with several variables) ;
• Advanced English language skills – high level of interfacing with internal / external customers ;
• Strong interpersonal skills ;
• Good communication skills ;
• Drive to excel ;
• Team player and collaboration skills ;
• Process orientation and understanding of work activities ;
• Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office Tools (e.g. Word, Excel, Access) and other supporting systems ;
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously ;
• Ability to meet deadlines and priorities ;
• Continuous Improvement mindset.
