Job Scope :

• Appraise the effectiveness of the overall security programs and operations in the area of responsibility
• Support local management in implementation of risk mitigation measures/programs, including technical security measures
• Work closely with Site Security Contacts and other relevant Business Line representatives in advisory of threat information, lessons learnt sharing, and best practices application
• Provide guidance for travel limitations and protection in higher threat environments, and provide close-in protection for Executives as required
• Provide functional and advisory support to operating organizations regarding management of Embedded Security Guard Forces
• Maintain ongoing liaison with government and law enforcement agencies within the area of responsibility
• Assist with cost control, project management and management of change (MOC) processes
• Participate in Emergency Response groups and deployments, as appropriate, and assist in development of evacuation plan and business continuity plans
• Investigate irregularities in accordance with local laws and Investigation Recommended Practices
• Carry out any other regional assignments or tasks as assigned by Global Security

Qualifications :

Candidate qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a government or corporate security environment
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Solid Knowledge of Security Industry best practices/processes
• Strong interpersonal skills – ability to influence without authority
• Self-starter, able to operate independently with minimal supervision, whilst remaining as part of the regional Global Security team
• Relevant working experience in a leadership role will be an advantage
• Good command of Chinese language is preferred
• Proficient in computer skills
• Able to relocate to Shanghai, China in the immediate term
