COOPI Cooperazione-Internazionale, is a humanitarian, non-confessional and independent organization founded in 1965 in Milan, Italy. For more than 50 years COOPI has been involved in fight against poverty with a long term support and a continuous presence alongside communities, victims of conflicts, socio-economical, humanitarian crises and natural disasters. The activities implemented by COOPI aims to foster development and to cope with emergencies. Since 1965 COOPI has carried out more than 1600 projects in 63 countries both development and humanitarian, collaborating with 55.000 local operators by ensuring direct support to 100 million people. In Africa, Latin America and in the Middle East COOPI assure access to water, the right to health and to education for vulnerable communities.

To ensure an efficient supervision of its missions and the representation of the Organization, COOPI is periodically looking for profiles of high expertise to coordinate the activities of the Countries we are working in.

Particularly, the recruitment is now focused on the following profiles:

  1. Head of Mission
  2. Project and Country Administrator
  3. Logistic Coordinator

In particular for the Sub-Saharan Africa ( ex. Mali, Niger, Chad, Central African Republic and Democratic Republic of Congo).

Qualifications:

  • Degree in International Cooperation, International Relations, Humanitarian or related field. Master degree and training courses in different sectors related to cooperation, emergency or technical level will be highly considered
  • At least 5 years of previous experience on the field
  • Desirable experiences in countries where COOPI works
  • Excellent knowledge of English and French language (written and spoken)
  • Excellent reporting skills and good knowledge of tools (administrative, logistics, programming, managerial, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, managerial and relational skills
  • Previous experience in representing the Organization with Institutional actors (government, donors, stakeholders)
  • Knowledge of main donors’ procedures (ECHO, UE, USAID, UN Agencies, DFID, AICS, etc.)
  • Proven abilities to work under pressure in limited security context
