Job Profile Summary :
BP Upstream Global Project Organisation is currently in full field development of the Greater Tortue Ahmeyim gas field. The GTA gas field is estimated to contain around 15 trillion cubic feet of gas – enough to support production for 30 years or more. It will be the deepest development to date in Africa, with the subsea system located in ultra-deepwater at a water depth of around 2,850m.
The Greater Tortue Ahmeyim project will produce gas from the ultra-deepwater subsea system and mid-water floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel, which will process the gas, removing heavier hydrocarbon components. The gas will then be transferred to a floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) facility at a nearshore hub located on the Mauritania and Senegal maritime border. The FLNG facility is designed to provide circa 2.5 million tonnes of LNG per annum on average. The project, the first major gas project to reach FID in the basin, is planned to provide LNG for global export as well as making gas available for domestic use in both Mauritania and Senegal.
The Hub/Terminal is located 10km offshore on the border between Mauritania and Senegal and will provide permanent mooring for an FLNG vessel, a berth for LNG carriers and include the required process distribution equipment. The hub is protected by a 1km breakwater that will be constructed of a rock mound and 21 caissons. The terminal facility consists of circa 250 piles and over 80 topsides structures. In support of the operations a QU Jack-up will be constructed, with the terminal facilities including the lines and cables for the distribution of the utilities to the Hub/Terminal.
The Hub Installation lead is a rotational role based in Dakar, Senegal.
The Hub Installation Lead will manage the Marine Construction deliverables on behalf of the Hub delivery team, including, installation engineering, rock dumping/dredging, installation of caissons, piles, trestles and facilities.

The Hub Installation lead reports to the Hub Construction Manager. The Hub Installation Leads primary role is based in Dakar, Senegal but will require frequent travel to Mauritania and Offshore at the Hub offshore location.
