Hello. We’re Velocity Frequent Flyer. And we’re back (in a big way).

With a year of ups and downs behind us all, we’re now ramping things up. Looking for a Senior Manager, Consumer Partnerships  to join our fast-growing squads, responsible for acquiring new and managing existing partners in our programs.  In this pivotal leadership role you will focus on the creation and differentiated strategies for individual consumer partners.  You will define, establish, and deliver product and marketing initiatives aligned with developed strategies

What you will be doing :

  • Developing and executing the Consumer Partnerships Portfolio strategy ;
  • Driving sound commercial agreements with Partners ;
  • Renegotiating Partner contracts ;
  • Maintaining strong Partner relationships and demonstrating the value Partners ;
  • Setting strategy, budget targets, reporting on performance, driving new opportunities with existing Partners ;
  • Assisting in leading and motivating a team of Consumer Partnerships professionals ;
  • Negotiating and driving new opportunities with partners, working with all internal stakeholders to bring those projects to life.

You will be driven by ambitious growth targets and will be focused on growing market share and long term partner success.

 

What will make you successful :

  • You will hold 10 years’ experience within loyalty, marketing or key account management environments ;
  • Have a deep understanding of regulations and concepts relevant to loyalty programs ;
  • A proven track record of successfully securing significant commercial partnership deals from initiation to contract closure ;
  • Strong commercial acumen, with ability to lead commercial negotiations ;
  • Exceptional influencing and negotiating skills, with the ability to build and develop productive and successful business relationships ;
  • Proven track record in value-based selling and managing margins in competitive environments ;
  • Great numerical skills which enable you to build, develop and evaluate business cases ;
  • Proven experience in building teams and steering them to success ;
  • Ability to drive teams across the business to launch initiatives.
