REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR A JUNIOR CONSULTANT POSITION
The African Development Bank (AfDB) is the premier multi-lateral development finance institution fostering economic growth and social progress in Africa. The AfDB’ s primary goal is to reduce poverty and improve living standards by mobilizing resources in and outside Africa, and providing financial and technical assistance for development projects and programs in Africa.
Under the new DBDM, the Regional Integration Coordination Office (RDRI) was established within the Regional Development, Integration and Business Delivery Complex (RDVP) with the aim of providing strategic direction for the Integrate Africa work streams at the regional level while focusing on implementation at the sub-regional and national level through Regional and Country Strategy Papers to enable Regional Member Countries to realize enhanced outcomes.
The RDRI seeks one (1) Junior Consultant to work with the RDRI team on regional integration knowledge products and regional projects monitoring for a period of 12 months on a full-time basis. The Junior Consultant will work with RDRI Team along with the Trade, Policy and Regional Operations Secretariat of the RDRI team on the tasks aligned to intra-regional free trade and policies related to strengthening of the regional operations envelop, knowledge products, the Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and the Protocol on Free Movement of People, inter alia.
