About the role :

As the Business Reporting Analyst within the People team – a newly created role reporting into a Head of People – you will be a central co-ordination point supporting Business Leaders, Procurement & Finance whilst developing and delivering robust reporting capabilities that provide meaningful data insights that can be used to make business decisions.

 

Key responsibilities :

  • Establish yourself as a go-to person for Business leaders, Finance and Procurement with your ability to provide People-related data and insights to support business decision making ;
  • Partner with the Finance team to accurately track a range of metrics against forecast budget ;
  • Build Power BI dashboards for workforce tracking and reporting ;
  • Analyse business and headcount data and prepare commentary and insights to be shared with stakeholders in the business ;
  • Update reporting processes to enable automation of reports and self-service of People metrics ;
  • Develop expertise on the different technologies data is extracted from and how they connect to the analytics and reporting tools used within the People team ;
  • Support projects as we implement and update technology used by the team.

 

About you :

  • Tertiary qualification in business or related discipline ;
  • A depth of knowledge of reporting and analytics and its application across Business and Shared Services functions ;
  • Strong experience using data management systems and manipulating large data sets ;
  • Experience developing and delivering reporting solutions and providing insightful commentary for business stakeholders ;
  • A strong commitment to delivering customer service and continual improvement in service delivery ;
  • Skills in Power BI, knowledge of quantitative methods and how to interrogate data ;
  • A proactive and adaptable work style and able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment where your priorities will shift to support the business ;
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills are required, preferably gained in a consulting or corporate reporting environment. Exposure to the Oracle suite is useful.
