Interline Agreements and Offline Pricing Analyst

Brisbane

Full Time (3 days in office, 2 WFH)

What you’ll be doing :

The objective of the Interline Agreements and Offline Pricing Analyst role is to be a subject matter expert on a portfolio of markets and implement pricing strategies to achieve strong results. The use of data and the collaboration with the Alliances team is imperative for success. An understanding of international pricing and the industry standard for inter-airline settlement is crucial to achieving results :

  • Analyse internal data and external sources to understand key drivers of market performance and opportunities ;
  • Use data and insight to create appropriate proactive and reactive pricing strategies to drive revenue improvements for your portfolio, the network and Group ;
  • Monitor competitor activity in market and prepare a timely response for key markets / channels ;
  • Report on success of flight pricing strategies / campaigns in market ;
  • Participate in regular market performance meetings / discussions and lead pricing insights aspects of the discussions ;
  • Work closely with pricing distribution, revenue accounting and Alliances departments for fare queries and commercial intent ;
  • Build key relationships across the business, particularly sales, Alliances and marketing channel owners ;
  • Analysis of partner revenue trends of feed onto VA network and implement agreements to drive volume or yield ;
  • Receive SPA proposals from airline partners and evaluate in terms of competitiveness, flexibility and facilitation of VA revenue objectives ;
  • Manage the process of interline group requests, evaluation and approval ;
  • Ensure approach to interline groups assessment meets the revenue requirements set by revenue management market analysts.

 

Who we’re looking for :

  • Strong IATA Fares & Ticketing knowledge ;
  • Advanced Excel skills ;
  • Strong ATPCo system knowledge  ;
  • A thorough current understanding of the domestic and international airfare market ;
  • Proven experience in using data to create strategic pricing initiatives ;
  • Experience in international LongHaul interline airline pricing ;
  • Proven internal and external customer service and sales experience, as well as stakeholder management ;
  • Ability to negotiate agreements with airlines and work off a matrix ;
  • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work under pressure with high attention to detail ;
  • Understanding of airline proration/ Special Prorate Agreements/ IATA Revenue Accounting Manual Standards.
