- The United Republic of Tanzania through Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar has received financing from the African Development Bank toward the cost of the Support for Skills Development and Youth Employment in the Blue Economy Project (SEBEP), and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this fund to payments under the contract for Conducting Tracer Study for Vocational Training Centers Under Skills Development for Youth Employability in the Blue Economy Project (SEBEP).
- The Ministry of Education and Vocational Training (MoEVT) now invites eligible individual consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services of Conducting Tracer Study for Vocational Training Centers Under Skills Development for Youth Employability in the Blue Economy Project.
- The Individual Consultant should possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in the area of labor market assessment and labor market survey
- At least five (5) years of experience in labor market assessment
- Extensive experience in the use of labor market information in developing Vocational education training policies programs.
- Strong professional background in TVET.
- Extensive experience in the use of labor market information in developing Vocational education training curricula.
- Evidence of having successfully completed similar assignments.
- Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the Individual Consultant Selection method procedures set out in the African Development Bank’s “Procurement Policy for Bank Group Funded Operations”, dated October 2015, which is available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afdb.org.
- Interested consultants may obtain further information including the detailed Terms of Reference at the address below during office hours; 7:30 am to 3:30 pm EAT excluding public holidays.
