Apogee Systems is seeking a Land Forces Advisor  for Chad to assist the Chadian ANT Command Staff to develop staff practices and best methods to ensure a sustainable operational capabilities.

Total compensation:  $200+k

Qualifications for ANT Land Forces Advisor:
–  Five (5) years’ experience working in Africa, post-conflict, and/or developing nations.
–  Five (5) years’ hands-on experience working as an officer of the U.S. military or a foreign military.
–  Two (2) years’ experience working at the Brigade and Battalion levels.
–  Two (2) years’ experience developing and delivering training modules to foreign militaries.  Experience may be demonstrated by serving as a 91Z58 Chief Instructor or equivalent.
–  Two (2) years’ experience advising foreign militaries.
–  Fluent English speaker. English fluency shall be to 3/3 DLPT and OPI 2, or equivalent.
–  Fluent French speaker. French fluency shall be 3/3 DLPT and OPI 2, or equivalent.

–  Arabic fluency. Arabic fluency shall be 2/2 DLPT and OPI 2 or equivalent.

–  At a minimum, graduate from a Senior Professional Military Education program, such as Command and General Staff College, or foreign military equivalent.

–  U.S. citizen with a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities include: 

-Develop technical and administrative direction for the ANT Command Staff.
-Provide advisory and mentor services to support the ANT Command Staff’s operations, training, logistics, maintenance, and supply.
-The Contractor shall provide training services to familiarize personnel with improved ANT Command Staff operations and best practices.

Primary duty station shall be in N’Djamena, Chad, with frequent TDY to other Chadian bases.
