To provide advisory services to the Chadian Armed Forces, specifically the Land Forces (ANT) to reinforce Defense Institution Building (DIB) efforts in theater.
PERSONNEL REQUIREMENTS:
Provide an Embedded Special Forces Advisor (Chad). The Advisor shall:
- Assist the Chadian Special Forces Staff to develop staff practices and best methods to ensure a sustainable operational capabilities. Develop technical and administrative direction for the ANT Command Staff.
- Provide advisory and mentor services to support the Special Forces Command Staff’s operations, training, logistics, maintenance, and supply.
- The Contractor shall provide training services to familiarize personnel with improved Special Forces Command Staff operations and best practices. The Advisor shall perform the following activities to support training:
- Ensure all Special Forces Command Staff personnel are able to perform their duties.
- Provide qualified instruction participants in accordance with applicable training references.
- Develop an assessment methodology that measures training effectiveness.
- Provide an after action report that identifies impediments to training implementation and develops a mitigation strategy.
- Plan, design, and conduct refresher training tailored to the training effectiveness assessment.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications for Chad Special Forces Advisor:
- Five (5) years’ experience working in Africa, post-conflict, and/or developing nations.
- Two (2) years’ experience working at the Brigade and Battalion levels.
- Five (5) years’ hands-on experience working as an enlisted member or officer of the U.S. military.
- Two (2) years’ experience developing and delivering training modules to foreign militaries.
- Two (2) years’ experience advising foreign militaries.
- U.S. citizen capable of maintaining a Secret clearance.
- Required French language skills (DLPT 2/2 or above)
