The Commercial Business Controls Manager will focus on financial analysis, revenue optimization, and strategic planning, working closely with the commercial departments as well as business intelligence and financial controls teams
We will entrust you to
- Conduct financial analysis of commercial activities and prepare comprehensive reports
- Monitor commercial performance against budgets, identifying variances and insights
- Lead initiatives to strengthen commercial performance and EBITDAR through cross-department collaboration
- Identify new approaches to improve overall EBITDAR results
- Analyze route results, commercial performance and identify potential areas for cost efficiency and revenue generation
- Leverage data analytics to identify market trends and opportunities
- Assess and mitigate financial and commercial risks, developing strategies to manage potential impacts
What you will need to succeed
- University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred
- 5-7 years of financial analysis experience, within the airline or a similar commercial sector
- Proven experience in budget management, financial planning, and cross-departmental collaboration
- Solid understanding of the key drivers for an airline both commercial and operational
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, PowerBI, SQL, Tableau) and financial software systems
- Demonstrated leadership and project management abilities with a track record of leading performance improvement initiatives
- Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively reporting insights and collaborating with various departments.
