Description :

1. The African Development Bank hereby invites Individual Consultants to indicate their interest in the following Assignment: “SAP SRM Configuration Consultant”.

2. The main objective of the assignment is to rectify the identified issues during the pilot phase of the SRM system. In order to achieve this, the SRM configuration consultant will be required to carry out part or all the following tasks:

• Go live preparatory activities: Back-End Integration ;
• Post-live technical support ;
• Knowledge transfer to AfDB staff ;
• Level 2 support to Help Desk ;
• Documentation on fixed issues ;
• Ensure SRM day to day maintenance (BAU): catalog maintenance, user maintenance, etc .

The assignment will involve the following activities:

• Participate on the upgrade of SRM Plate Form ;
• Configure the SRM backend and SAP PORTAL to ensure a successful go-live of the SRM ;
• Resolve any technical issue which may occur after SRM goes live especially issues related to SRM configuration, MDM catalog, Portal, etc. ;
• Ensure proper and efficient knowledge transfer to staff of CHIS notably on MDM configuration, MDM workflow configuration, master data uploading in MDM, Product Id extension, etc, and any other required documentation ;
• Provide level 2 support to the help Desk ;
• Document any fixed bug or issues ;
• Provide any technical input in relation with SAP HANA project and SRM .

Essential skills/Competencies :

• At least a Master/Engineering degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent degree in Engineering or closely related disciplines ;
• At least 5 years’ experience in similar role ;
• Multidisciplinary consultant to cover different topics such as SRM, SAP HCM , SAP FI , SAP MM , and/or MDM Catalog.
• The consultants should have at least 5 years’ experience, ideally in implementing SAP SRM and MDM Catalog or configuring SRM Process-Controlled Workflow Design, Development and/or Configuration ;
• SRM Certification and good SAP Workflow technology are a plus ;
• Good Business Analysis competence and be client-centric ;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French or English is a must .

4. The Corporate Information Technology Services Department (CHIS) invites Individual Consultants to indicate their interest in providing the above-described services. Interested Consultants shall provide information on their qualifications and experience demonstrating their ability to undertake this Assignment (CV, reference to similar services, experience in similar assignments, etc.).

5. The eligibility criteria, the establishment of a short list and the selection procedures shall be in conformity with the Bank’s procedures for the acquisition of consulting services funded by the administrative or capital expenditure. Please, note that interest expressed by a Consultant does not imply any obligation on the part of the Bank to include him/her in the shortlist.

6. The estimated duration of services is six (06) months and the estimated starting date is 01 July 2019.

Etablishment  of the short  list :

A shortlist of three to six individual consultants will be established at the end the request of expressions of interest. The consultants on the shortlist will be judged on the following criteria on the basis of their updated resume.
