Malaria Consortium is recruiting for a Digital Health Data Analyst to join our team in London, UK.
The key purpose of this role is to lead on the implementation of complex digital health data analyses to support programme operations of which would include supporting platform/software selections for supply chain functions across countries, investment in specific data warehouses as well as interpretation of findings from key flagship projects in the organisation such as digitalised integrated community case management programmes. In addition, this role will provide technical contributions to the Surveillance and Data Informed Decision Making (DIDM) Business Area and participate in quality assurance and standardisation of data visualisation and data integration approaches across the organisation. They will be responsible for supporting the design and digital health integration and visualisation approaches of upcoming projects as well as conduct retrospective data visualisations from targeted projects. The jobholder will liaise with Malaria Consortium country offices to ensure accurate, thorough, and useful analytical and DIDM components of project activities and impacts. In addition, the position holder will be responsible for training technical staff on the use and interpretation of key findings to facilitate decision making and optimise project outcomes.
The successful candidate will have :
- Master’s degree in relevant field (information systems, computer science) ;
- Extensive experience in implementing digital solutions, preferably in the health system ;
- Experience on capacity building and on providing technical assistance regarding the implementation of digital solutions to stakeholders at various levels including but not limited to government actors, international organizations, NGOs/CBO’s, healthcare providers and community level structures ;
- Strong background on Android applications and complex data collection forms ;
- Significant experience in system administration and hardware management ;
- Experience in integrating information management systems ;
- Extensive experience of developing dashboards for data visualisation and analysis ;
- Essential to have experience in coding with XML, SQL, HTML, PHP, CSS, PBX, and Front-end platform management ;
- Experience supporting surveillance systems, MEL frameworks, KPI visualisation ;
- Experience in establishing and supporting community health information systems ;
- Experience in configuring OS servers such as LINUX/UNIX/Windows and Database Servers such as Microsoft SQL Server or Sybase.
This is a fixed term contract for the period of 2 years.
