Duration Appointment :   Indefinite subject to successful completion of probationary period.

The work schedule for this position is : Full Time (40 hours per week)

DUTIES : Basic functions of this position are to perform routine driving as directed by the Marine Security Guard Detachment of U.S. government owned passenger vehicles for the American Embassy located in Niamey, Niger.

EDUCATION : Completion of elementary education (CFEPD) is required.

EXPERIENCE :  Two years professional experience as a driver is required.

JOB KNOWLEDGE : Must know local/regional traffic laws and be familiar with area traffic patterns.  Must be familiar with proper motor vehicle maintenance such as how to check fluid levels, tire pressures, and safety checks. A driving test will be given

LANGUAGE : English limited spoken knowledge. This may be tested.
