The Government of the Republic of Namibia (GRN) has received financing from the African Development Bank (AfDB) toward the cost of the Namibia Water Sector Support Program. It intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this loan/grant to payments under the contract to provide consultancy services for the design and establishment of a Grievance Redress Mechanism (GRM).
Scopes of the services :
The consultant is expected to design and establish a Grievance Redress Mechanism (GRM) for Namibia Water Sector Support Program (NWSSP), which should effectively and efficiently receive and respond to the concerns, complaints and grievances arising from the project activities throughout the project design, implementation and completion phases. The detailed scope of services is outlined in the Terms of Reference.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Land Reform (MAWLR) now invites eligible individual consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services. In submitting Expression of Interest, consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required and relevant experience to perform the services. Interested consultants must provide information (cover letters, curriculum vita, copies of academic and professional, description/ evidence of similar completed projects by consultant (s), experience in similar project authorities, evidence of work in similar geographical areas, availability of appropriate skills indicating that they are qualified to perform the service).
Eligibility criteria, the establishment of the short-list, and the selection procedure shall follow the African Development Bank’s Procurement Framework for Group Funded Operational, October 2015 edition, which is available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afdb.org. In accordance with the Bank Procurement Method for selection of Individual Consultants will be used for this consultancy service.
