Reporting into the People Analytics and HRIS Specialist, the objective of the HRIS and Reporting Advisor is to be a support monitoring the HRIS inbox, establishing positions and position management within our HR Information System and maintenance of contingent workforce records. This role also supports the delivery of high quality, timely and accurate HR reporting for the delivery of the People strategy across Virgin Australia.
This will be a 12 month contract initially.
Key Accountabilities :
- Maintain and improve data quality within the HRIS with a focus on engaging user experience, updating and maintaining user friendly processes, guidelines & documentation ;
- Assist in the ongoing maintenance of the Group’s organisational structure within HRIS, including stakeholder management with business areas and Finance ;
- Coordinate with stakeholders for HRIS integrations and associated data flow ;
- Maintenance of HRIS records for contingent workers and respond to HRIS queries ;
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on open ticket progress, proposed system changes and system enhancements ;
- Validation/audit of HRIS access responsibilities, employee salary records, assignment history records and tax information ;
- Support the production of high-quality reports which concisely and effectively communicate results and insights ;
- Assist in maintaining and developing the People dashboards and reports related to the Group’s strategic initiatives.
What you need to be successful :
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Information Technology or related disciplines ;
- 1-2 years’ experience performing database system administration ;
- Experience using data management systems ;
- Experience and confidence with Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet programs ;
- Experience using other Microsoft Office packages (i.e. Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint) ;
- Very high attention to detail ;
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced organisation ;
- An exceptional team player attitude, willing to help others out in order to deliver for the business ;
- Excellent organisational skills and confident communication skills to interact with a range of stakeholders.
