Who we’re looking for :

The objective of the Optimisation Data Analyst role is to drive the data analysis, reporting and insight generation functions for the company’s digital optimisation (“test and learn”) program.
The Digital Analytics team plays an integral role in driving digital transformation through intelligent use of digital customer data. We look after analytics implementation, conduct deep-dive behavioural analysis into the digital customer journey, and produce reporting across the digital product portfolio as well as marketing campaign performance. We also play key roles in operationalising our new Customer Data Platform, and in driving the analytics for our Test & Learn program.

**This is a 12 months fixed term contract based in either Brisbane or Sydney**

What you’ll be doing :

  • Work with the test and learn squad and CRO specialist to execute testing and targeting using Adobe Target to optimise the conversion funnels, leveraging any previous experience you may have with Adobe Target or a similar execution platform (highly desirable if you have experience in setting up tests in Adobe Target) ;
  • Work with the product team and optimisation manager to maintain a prioritised testing backlog, and provide analysis into the key ‘hunting grounds’ for our experimentation ;
  • Create reporting for, and perform deep-dive analysis on, all optimisation activities, and surface insight to help inform digital customer journey strategy ;
  • Work with the product and commercial teams to translate complex test data into commercial uplift (incremental revenue, increased conversion rate) and ensure a continuous data feedback loop ;
  • Work with our implementation team to deliver customised tagging solutions to support both test and learn initiatives as well as the general digital product portfolio.

 

You’ll be great in this role if you :

  • 2+ years of CRO or digital optimisation experience working across client and/or agency side ;
  • Hands on experience with optimisation execution platforms (Adobe Target) and creating A/B and multi-variate tests ;
  • Good experience in data analysis and reporting via Adobe Analytics and proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insight ;
  • Proven experience in applying statistical concepts to determine test significance.
