GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE

Agricultural Value Chain Development Project(AVCDP)

 

 

1. The republic the Sudan has received a grant from the African Development Bank/African Development Fund and Fund of African Producer Associations to finance the Agricultural Value Chain Development Project (AVCDP) ;
2. The principal objectives of this project are to improve household incomes, food security, and climate resilience through infrastructure development, market access and trade facilitation as well as enhancing production and productivity, and modes of procurement are ICB, NCB, Shopping, QCBS, and LCS ;
3. The project includes the following components :

a-   Enhancing Production and Productivity ;

b-   Infrastructure Development for Market Access and Trade Facilitation ;

c-   Strengthening Gum Arabic Value Chain ;

d-   Project coordination and management.

4. Procurement of goods and/or works will be in accordance with the Bank’s Rules of Procedure for the Procurement of Goods and Works. Acquisition of the services of Consultants will follow the Bank’s Rules of Procedure for the Use of Consultants. Bidding documents are expected to be available in January 2019 ;
