1. The African Development Bank seeks expressions of interest from qualified individual consultants in the following assignment : Hiring of a financial sector strategy / results measurement consultant
The services to be provided under the Assignment include :
- Support the updating of the Financial Sector Policy and Strategy with a special focus on the results and impact measurement frameworks ;
- Provide strategic support across PIFD on the incorporation of an impact-driven approach to investments ;
- Contribute to the development of monitoring tools for measuring impact of financial sector operations ;
- Participate in the formulation and implementation of financial innovation activities that align with the Bank’s Strategy and the High 5 priority areas ;
- Contribute to the implementation of the PIFD managed Social Impact Investments ;
- Prepare documents and participate in external communications efforts to demonstrate the impact of financial sector operations ;
- Engage in research and technical reviews for Economic and Sector Work undertaken by the Department and in coordination with other complexes ;
- Perform other Ad-hoc tasks as requested by the Director.
2. The Financial Sector Development Department hereby invites suitably qualified individual consultants Interested Consultants are required to provide information on their qualifications and experience demonstrating their ability to undertake this Assignment (CV, experience in similar assignments, etc.) ;
3. The eligibility criteria, the establishment of a short list and the selection procedure shall be in conformity with the Bank’s Rules and Procedure for the Use of Corporate Consultants. Please, note that interest expressed by a Consultant does not imply any obligation on the part of the Bank to include him/her in the shortlist ;
4. The estimated duration of services is 12 months with the intent to extend the contract at that time for at least another 6 month term based on satisfactory performance. The tentative starting date
is 7th January 2018.
5. Interested Individual Consultants may obtain further information at the address below during the Bank’s working hours: 0900hrs to 1700hrs ;
6. Expressions of interest must be received either electronically by e-mail or by mail at the address below no later than November 23th, 2018 at 1700hrs local time and specifically mentioning “PIFD FS STRATEGY AND RESULTS MEASUREMENT CONSULTANT”.
