The Republic of Uganda has received financing from the African Development Bank towards the cost of the Markets and Agricultural Trade Improvement Programme – Project 2 (MATIP-2), and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this loan to payments under the contract for Consultancy Services for Construction Supervision of Kabale Central Market in Kabale Municipality, Uganda.
The consultancy services included under this assignment construction supervision of : Preliminaries and General Works Market Building Works involving Substructure, Walling and Frame, Roof Construction and Covering, Windows, Doors, Wall Finishes, Floor Finishes, Ceiling Finishes, Fittings, Internal Plumbing and Drainage and Electrical Installation.

The implementation period of the assignment is estimated to be 24 (Twenty Four) months for Construction Supervision followed by a maximum defects liability period of 12 (Twelve) months.
The Ministry of Local Government (The Client) now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may constitute joint-ventures to enhance their chances of qualification.
Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s “Rules and Procedures for the use of Consultants” May 2008 Revised July 2012, which is available on the Bank’s website at here.

Expressions of interest must be delivered to the address below by 15th February 2019 at 12:00 Noon and mention “Consultancy Services for Construction Supervision of Kabale Central Market in Kabale Municipality, Uganda”.
