The Government of Uganda has received financing from the African Development Fund (ADF) towards the cost of the Strategic Towns Water Supply and Sanitation Project (STWSSP). It is intended that part of the agreed amounts of these funds will be used for payments under the contract for skills development and economic empowerment of women and youth in selected enterprises in 10 towns covered under the Project as indicated in the table below:

The Ministry of Water and Environment, now invites consultants (firms) to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. Consultants may constitute joint-ventures to enhance their chances of qualification.
Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the Procurement Policy for Bank Group Funded Operations Approved in October 2015, and available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afdb.org.
