REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST
Individual Consultants for Country Diagnostic – PINS.1
Dear Sir/Madam,
- The African Development Bank hereby invites Individual Consultants to indicate their interest in the following Assignment : Three (3) to Four (4) Individual Consultants to undertake Country Diagnostics ;
- The services to be provided under the Assignment : The consultants will conduct remote or in field assessment of the private sector in targeted countries through broad-based consultations with key stakeholders. The assessment is designed to create a Country Private Sector Profile which will analyze critical binding constraints to private sector development and private investment, identify sector and project level investment opportunities, review potential local strategic and technical partnerships opportunities and provide insights into critical elements required to support potential investment decisions ;
- The Private Sector Development Department invites Individual Consultants to indicate their interest in providing the above-described services. Interested Consultants shall provide information on their qualifications and experience demonstrating their ability to undertake this Assignment (documents, reference to similar services, experience in similar assignments, etc.;) ;
- The eligibility criteria, the establishment of a short list and the selection procedure shall be in conformity with the Bank’s Rules and Procedure for Acquisition of Consulting Services funded by the Administrative or Capital Expenditure Budget. Please, note that interest expressed by a Consultant does not imply any obligation on the part of the Bank to include him/her in the shortlist ;
- The assignment will be for a period of 66 non-consecutive working days and the estimated starting date will be 4th May 2020 ;

- Expressions of interest must be received by email at the address above no later than Wednesday 25 March 2020, at 16h00 local time and specifically mentioning Individual Consultants (3 to 4) to undertake Country Diagnostics.

ESTABLISHMENT OF THE SHORT LIST :
- A shortlist of Ten to Fifteen individual consultants will be established at the end the request of expressions of interest. The consultants on the shortlist will be judged on the following criteria on the basis of their updated resume.
