REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST FOR CONSULTING FIRMS
- The African Development Bank (AfDB) hereby invites Consulting Firms to indicate their interest for the Climate Investment Funds Country Engagement Budget Pilot Program for Climate Resilience (CIF CEB PPCR) Women in Niger as Partners in Renewable Energy Policy and Action Plan activity.
- The Consultancy Service will support the development of project proposal to implement the Women in Niger as Partners in Renewable Energy Policy and Action Plan activity. Its main objective is to support the Government of Niger and line ministries, specially the Ministry of Mining and Energy and energy utilities, to develop genderrelated recommendations for mainstreaming gender into its current renewable energy policy and renewable energy action plan. This is a tailored and demand-driven activity, in which the Consulting Firm will rely on three main components: i) awareness raising; ii) delivering a study, and iii) communication, evaluation and learning (these components are detailed in the ToRs below).
- The Bank invites Consulting Firms to indicate their interest in providing the abovedescribed services. Interested eligible firms or associations of firms shall provide information on their qualifications and experience while demonstrating their ability to successfully provide the services (documentation, references for similar services, experience in similar assignments, availability of qualified staff, etc.).
- The eligibility criteria, the establishment of a short list and the selection procedures shall be in conformity with the Presidential Directive No 02/2012 Concerning the Procedures for Acquisition of Consulting Services funded by the Administrative or Capital Expenditure Budget of the Bank Group and its Implementation Manual. Please note that interest expressed by a Consulting Firm does not imply any obligation on the part of the
Bank to include that firm in the shortlist. - The assignment is expected to last for a period non exceeding 12 months and the estimated starting month is January 9, 2022. In case of need, Interested Consulting firms mayobtain additional information by contacting the email addresses below during the Bank’sworking
days, from 09:00 to 17:00 hours. - Expressions of interest must be delivered via email to the addresses below no later than December 2nd, 2022, at 17:00 Abidjan local time and specifically mention “CIF CEB – Women in Niger as Partners in Renewable Energy Policy and Action Plan”.
